Is kissing a smoker like breathing second-hand smoke?

There is this guy I like, and he smokes quite a lot I have heard. We have made out a few times and I never thought I would say this, (I dont smoke) but I don't find it disgusting at all, like some people say. Is kissing a guy who just smoked like breathing second-hand smoke or is it different because there is just the taste left?
