My friend's mom is having comlications from an ileostomy reversal. Anyone have those? Blockage or something?

I'd love some info from anyone who had an ileostomy and had complications. Her mom,Iris, keeps throwing up and at first the doctors thought it was just because she wasn't eating, so she felt nauseated and didn't want to eat and so had nothing but bile in her stomach. But now she's vomited so much they are worried that perhaps there is an obstruction, or a blockage or a problem anyway. Tomorow they are doing a scan of some kind. Not an MRI, but something else. ANY info would be appreciated. Thank you!
