Could i be pregnant this early?
You could be since he had a reversal, but it's very unlikely. Why? Because it takes around 75 days for new "non-vasectomized" sperm to be produced and make it's way "through the pipes". Any sperm that is present in his ejaculate right now were produced while he had his vasectomy. And a vasectomized man has microphlanges and anti-sperm antibodies that attack sperm and basically "kill them off, chew them up, and reabsorb them". So the sperm that are found in the system of a man with a vasectomy tend to be unable to fertilize an egg. They just aren't healthy, normal sperm. Once the system is restored to it's natural state through vasectomy reversal, sperm can make their way to where they are supposed to be, but it takes around that magic 8-10 weeks. And chances are, your guy still has anti-sperm antibodies that may or may not affect the health of his sperm. Most couples will become pregnant about a year after reversal. Your symptoms could be those of pregnancy, but most likely, they are caused because of the stress of vasectomy reversal and the newness of ttc'ing. Almost every woman I know whose SO has had a reversal ends up with a few irregular cycles just following surgery. I know I did! Things will straighten out in a month or two, and by then, your SO will have healthy, numerous sperm in his ejaculate. It's nothing serious; it's just going to take some time. GL
