Currentvalue of EE savings bonds issued 1983 and 1989?

I received 2 savings bonds from an inheritance. $1000 issued 7/1989 and $500 issued5/1983 I cannot look up the value cause I already took them to the bank. I received $2546.20 and recall it to be more when I looked it up a month ago. Unfortunately, I do not know their serial number. thanks
