What does it mean to have a dream...?

What does it mean to have a dream where someone puts a gun to their head and shoot themselves? I had this dream last night and I woke up fast breathing and everything all because that's so weird. A few nights ago, I also had a dream where my grandparents were both in their 20s and my uncle and mom were little kids and this lady was in their house and she set up all these butcher knives and they were all somehow connected to fishing line. My grandma got up and went to the kitchen to get some water (this was during the night) and she tripped over this line. The knives flew out like in the movie Carrie and killed everyone in the house but my grandma. I remember my grandma saying "Oh My God, their dead!" cause she couldn't get up. she had been stabbed. Can someone please help me understand what this means? Im thinking of starting a dream journal because this is creeping me out bad. 10 Pts to best answer!!
